Free file tools that run in your browser

Your files are processed by your own browser, not by a server. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and there is no signup, watermark or queue.

Why this works differently

Most free file tools take your document, send it to a server, process it there and send it back. That means waiting for two transfers, trusting a stranger with the contents, and living with whatever file-size cap keeps their bill down.

Modern browsers can do the work themselves. Every tool here decodes and re-encodes your file locally, which removes the upload entirely: the limit becomes your own device's memory rather than someone's quota, and a dropped connection mid-job no longer matters.
